Alanis Morissette has withdrawn from her UK and European tour by announcing to fans on Twitter.
The Ironic hit maker has announced to fans that she will be postponing her UK and Europe tour, which is due to begin later this month.
In a series of fan-updating tweets, she has seen her three children and worries about travel, possibly post-covid restrictions, as “difficult” reasons why the UK tour was halted. .
She wrote: “I know things are going to change, but at the moment I am heartbroken to say that we have to postpone the next shows in the UK and Europe to October and November 2021.
She added: “Europe and the UK miss you so much. Traveling abroad from one country to another is becoming more and more difficult with three children in an unprecedented time on this beautiful planet. “
The tour was to go around the north with Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester on the program and Birmingham and the O2 in London.
Alanis was only 21 when she rose to world fame in the 90s with her album Jagged Little Pill and moved from her native Canada to Los Angeles to pursue her dream.
