Alvvays has not released any new music since 2017 Antisocialists, but that hasn’t stopped indie heads from loving their two-album catalog nonstop in the meantime. Canadian band jangly have played a few one-off shows opening for The Strokes over the years and will appear as part of Courtney Barnett Here and there traveling “festival” in August. But now they’ve shared a full slate of US fall tour dates starting in October at the Riviera Theater in Chicago, the hometown of their opening act, Slow Pulp.

Not only that, but the band posted a teaser to their Instagram yesterday and said in a statement that the new music “may” be on the way.

We’ll take that to mean, “Yes, new music is coming and you’ll hear it live on this tour!” (Surely we can dream?) Until then, check out Alvvays’ full list of US tour dates below. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 22 at 10 a.m. local time here.
