Apple Presents Apple Music Sessions Featuring Artists Performing Their Hit Songs Live

Confirmed! Apple launched its new live Apple Music sessions on Friday, July 15. To kick off the event, fans can check out performances from Carrie Underwood and performances from Tenille Townes.

According to MarketScreener, Apple Music Sessions lets fans see their favorite artists perform a short selection of tracks, usually from their own hits and covers of personal favorites.
Each performance is recorded in Spatial Audio, and it is also presented in the video.
The session was initiated for Spatial Audio and associated live performance music videos to be recorded in Apple Music studios around the world.
Performances by the first two artists, Carrie Underwood and Tenille Townes, were recorded at Apple Music Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.

Carrie Underwood said in a statement that she performed two simplified versions of her songs and a cover song. Fans can listen to “Ghost Story,” “Blown Away,” and a cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”
As for Tenille Townes, she performed the songs “‘Same Road Home” and “Somebody’s Daughter”. She also did a cover of “At Last” by Etta Jame.
According to Apple Insider, future artists to be featured in Apple Music Sessions are Ronnie Dunn and Ingrid Andress and other country artists. The tech giant also plans to add more genres to Apple Music Sessions.
Apple Music raises fees
As Apple Music Sessions rolls out, the tech giant has increased the price of Apple Music plans. The student plan in the US, UK and Canada has been increased from $4.99 to $5.99 per month.
Although Apple has not acknowledged the changes, the new pricing information is currently available on the Apple Music webpage.
Students who subscribe to Apple Music have also started to see the price increase on the subscription pages for iPhones and iPads. It’s unclear when Apple implemented these changes, but according to 9to5Mac, it likely rolled out between June 21 and June 23.
What is the Apple Music Student Plan?
The Apple Music Student Plan was created for those who are enrolled in a college or university. It was previously the most affordable comprehensive plan offered by the platform.
The price of $9.99 per month per person and $14.99 per month for the family plan remains unchanged, and the same goes for the $4.99 per month for the voice plan.
The increase in Apple Music prices is not only seen in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
In June, Apple increased the subscription price for students in several countries, including New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Indonesia and Kenya. .
It’s unclear if Apple plans to raise costs for students in other countries.
Besides its subscription plans, the tech giant will also increase the price of its upcoming iPhone 14 device, according to Forbes.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max can cost around $1,099 and $1,199 respectively.
