Artists accused of ripping their songs from other songs

Lawyers for Merrill and his team say they presented their version of “Game On” to Underwood in August 2017, but the singer ultimately turned it down.
However, the lawsuit says Underwood’s song “Game On” for the 2018 season of “Sunday Night Football” features a similar chorus and melody to the song Merrill and his team cast Underwood previously – but does not credit them.
The New York Post reported that Underwood, the NFL and NBC have yet to respond to requests for comment on the case.
