Nick mason‘s Saucer of secrets have just announced the North American dates for “The Echoes Tour”. The 2022 trek will see the classic rock drummer and his band perform early music from Pink floyd. See the full list of concerts below.
“The Echoes Tour” hopes to pick up where the group 2019 tour leave behind. Mason and his group will begin the trek on January 18 in Toronto, Canada, before stopping in major cities like Boston, New York, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles. The 26-date race will then end on February 28 in Vancouver, Canada.
The founding member and drummer of Pink Floyd created Saucerful of Secrets several years ago as a way to revisit the early tracks of his legendary band. Once again, the supergroup lineup includes former Pink Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt, Blockheads guitarist Lee Harris, Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp and songwriter / keyboardist Dom Beken alongside newly created member of the group british royal order.
âWe enjoyed our 2019 America tour so much,â Mason said in a press release. “We’re happy to be back and Pink Floyd fans may never have had the chance to play live.”
Tickets for certain tour dates will be available this Friday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. local time, with the rest going on sale shortly after November 5. You can purchase a ticket to see the band live at Ticketmaster.
The 8 most inflammatory quotes from Roger Waters
It’s definitely your best bet to hear some of Pink Floyd’s early tracks live considering the state of the beloved classic rock band. Roger Waters last year doubled down on his position that a reunion “It would be really horrible” and Mason reconfirmed his belief that Waters is comparable to Stalin. However, fans looking to see the two members live – albeit separately – may do so next year: Waters plans to embark on a summer 2022 tour also.
