Including a Canadian show in Toronto

Red Hot Chili Peppers previously announced plans for a world tour in 2022, but failed to confirm dates. Now that has changed, as the group’s combined classic lineup have scheduled European and North American matches for next year.

There are 32 dates in all, which the group announced with another of their KHOT comedy news shows, starring Anthony Kiedis as Johnson Hammerswaddle, Flea as Todd the Squirrel, Chad Smith as of Randy Raindrops and guitarist John Frusciante awkwardly playing each other.

After a little over a month in Europe in June and July, the group will tour across North America until September. This includes numerous shows in the United States as well as one stop in Canada: Toronto, ON, August 21. Tickets go on sale October 15.

The openings will vary depending on the date. This extremely impressive list of bands joining RHCP for the tour’s shows will include Anderson .Paak, A $ AP Rocky, Beck, Haim, King Princess, St. Vincent, the Strokes and Thundercat.

UPDATE (10/7, 4:40 p.m. ET): The Strokes have confirmed on Instagram that they will join RHCP for the North American leg of the tour, along with Thundercat.
