Sigur Ros have confirmed a series of UK and European tour dates for 2022. The new shows follow last month’s announcement of US, Canadian and Mexican dates. This tour will be their first in almost five years and the band plans to conclude with a huge comeback concert in Laugardalshöllin, Reykjavík on November 25.
Writing and recording their first new album since 2013 Kveikur, Sigur Rós will be playing new material on the tour, alongside material from their extensive discography. The new album will see the former member Kjartan Sveinsson joining the group for the first time in almost a decade, working again with founding members Jonsi and George Holm.
