E Street Band star and actor Steven Van Zandt is launching his own line of cannabis products.

Van Zandt, aka Little Steven, is the latest musician to dive into the growing marijuana and cannabidiol (CBD) industry and he will be producing “holistic natural remedies” as part of Little Steven’s Underground Apothecary.

Bruce Springsteen’s longtime companion, who also played Silvio Dante in The Sopranos, said in a statement Tuesday: “The United States may be the only country in the world that considers health care, both physical and mental, like an afterthought.

“Little Steven’s Underground Apothecary was created to help combat this problem by focusing on natural and holistic remedies. Some will help you relax, others will help you energize, all will help you take charge of your own well-being.

According to Rolling Stone, the products will initially only be available in the state of Massachusetts, where marijuana is legal.

Steven also hopes “to end the unfair criminalization of a plant that not only does a lot of good, but was found during Covid-19 to be almost as essential as art for the well-being and quality of life of people “.

10 percent of the profits from sales generated by the new business will be donated to the heads of the National Organization for the Legalization of Marijuana.

Music stars who have invested in cannabis or CBD companies in the past include Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, and JAY-Z.
