Sumac Announces Summer 2022 Tour Dates With Big | Brave & Tashi Dorji

Sumac Announces Summer 2022 Tour Dates With Big |  Brave & Tashi Dorji







The massive post-metal supergroup Sumac has officially announced their summer 2022 tour. The group’s tour, which has members based in both Canada and the United States, will reach various parts of both countries. Ticket information has yet to be announced.

Brooklyn Vegan reports that Sumac will be joined on their journey across America and Canada by drone metal band Big | Brave and improv guitarist Tashi Dorji. Additionally, two shows in North Carolina will also feature the duo Manas, consisting of Tashi Dorji and drummer Thom Nguyen.

Kicking off the bands’ trek will be a performance at Lincoln Hall in Chicago on August 8th. The musicians will then offer a concert in Detroit, Michigan, before making a detour to Canada, where they will perform in Toronto, Ontario. and Montreal, Quebec. After returning to America, the musicians will perform in Cambridge, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, two shows in North Carolina, Atlanta, Nashville, culminating in a show at the Ace of Cups in Columbus, Ohio on August 21.

8/21 – Columbus, OH @ Ace of Cups

Previously, Sumac released a full studio album in 2020 titled may you be restrained. Big Brave also recently released a studio album titled Vital in 2021.
