Prosthetic files are delighted to announce the signing of Vancouver, the Svneatr. The black metal band, pronounced Sun Eater, are in the process of finishing their third album which will be released via the Los Angeles label in due course. Alongside the signing announcement, Svneatr is set to set off on a month-long Canadian tour in support of Hexis this month of June.

Formed in 2014 and subsequently releasing 2015’s Serpents and Storms demo before long players 2018 and 2021 The howl, the whisper, the chase and Chinook respectively, Svneatr’s blend of atmospheric and progressive black metal is sure to please fans of Enslaved and Dark Throne as well as Opeth and Woods of Ypres.

Speaking about their signing to Prosthetic, Vitharr Monteith (guitar/vocals) commented: “Svneatr is incredibly thrilled to be partnering with Prosthetic Records for our third album and beyond! It’s a label we hold on to. held in high esteem for many years and we are thrilled to join such a list with some of our favorite bands!

“We are currently recording our album which is yet to be titled and it will be heavier, more musically diverse and darker than our previous album. We really feel like we have found a rhythm and found a unique sound, in honing in on what defines us as artists and creators, and we’re getting closer with every song. We can’t wait to share that distilled thunder we’ve been working on with you! To our fellow Canadians, catch us on our next Canada tour supporting mighty Hexis in June!”
