The Offspring announce new Australian tour dates for 2022 – Music Reads

The band’s sold-out tour has been postponed, with new dates added
California punk royalty Offspring were to be in Australia for a series of massive shows by the time the pandemic took hold in mid-2020.
These shows, which had sold out a few hours after the tickets went on sale, obviously could not take place. But the band are about to reward the patience of their many Australian fans, by securing a series of dates for December this year.
Additionally, they’ve added a few new shows in Brisbane and Sydney, and moved venues to Melbourne to allow more people to get involved.
The offspring frequently visit Australia. But can you believe it’s been 18 years since they last embarked on a landmark tour of the country?
The band, who have dominated recent Soundwave, Warped and Good Things festivals, return to Australia in December, this time on their own for a series of big arena shows.
They promised to air many of their greatest hits on these shows, from the irresistible “Come Out and Play” to (relatively) recent hits like “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” and so many massive songs in between. both.
They won’t be traveling alone, calling on multimillion-selling Canadian pop-punk dudes Sum 41who will support the group at all concerts.
Both bands have a long history, with Sum 41 first opening for The Offspring on their Plot of one toured in 2001, and there will no doubt be plenty of good times down the road for these two modern punk powerhouses.
